Unstuffed Bell Pepper Bowls

Ingredient List:
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 bunch of green onions
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1 pack of jasmine rice
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- Minced garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Olive oil
Here are the instructions for making the Unstuffed Bell Pepper Bowls:
1. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
2. While the rice is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat with some olive oil.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Add the lean ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
5. Season the turkey with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
6. Chop the green onions and add them to the skillet with the turkey. Cook for about 2 minutes.
7. Cut the green bell peppers into bite-sized pieces and add them to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the peppers are slightly tender.
8. Add the can of diced tomatoes and the can of tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir everything together and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
9. Once the rice is done cooking, add it to the skillet with the turkey and pepper mixture. Stir everything together until well combined.
