As a Certified Infant Massage Coach, I am passionate about the benefits of infant massage and how it can help parents and their children. Infant massage is a practice that has been used for centuries in many cultures around the world, and it has been shown to have a range of positive effects on infants and parents.

Infant massage involves using gentle, rhythmic strokes on a baby's body with the hands, fingers, or palms. The strokes are designed to stimulate the baby's senses, relax their muscles, and promote bonding between the baby and their caregiver. Infant massage can be performed on babies as young as a few days old, and it can be done at any time of the day.

Research has shown that infant massage can have a range of positive effects on infants and parents. Here are some of the benefits of infant massage:

1. Improved Sleep: Infant massage can help improve sleep patterns in both infants and parents. A study published in the Journal of Pediatric Psychology found that infants who received massage before bedtime slept longer and woke up less frequently during the night.

2. Reduced Crying: Infant massage can help reduce crying and fussiness in infants. A study published in the Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics found that infants who received massage cried less and were more content than infants who did not receive massage.

3. Decreased Stress Hormones: Infant massage can help decrease stress hormones in both infants and parents. A study published in the International Journal of Behavioral Development found that infants who received massage had lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol than infants who did not receive massage.

4. Improved Digestion: Infant massage can help improve digestion and relieve symptoms of colic, gas, and constipation. A study published in the Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing found that infant massage can improve digestion and reduce colic and gas in infants.

5. Bonding: Infant massage provides an opportunity for parents to bond with their children through touch. The act of massaging a baby can help parents feel more connected to their child and can promote a sense of closeness and intimacy.

6. Improved Immune System: Infant massage can help improve the immune system and reduce the risk of illness. A study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that infants who received massage had higher levels of white blood cells, which play a key role in fighting off infections.

My coaching services are designed to empower parents to bond with their children through touch and create a nurturing environment for their little ones.
